UvA’s Library department is experimenting with a new way of presenting a course curriculum to students through using the E-Reader. This is a service that allows teachers to create a list of literature that can be accessed digitally by students. One of the main advantages is that scanned documents and books can be reused by other teachers and in other semesters, so people don’t have to do the same work twice. Another advantage is the easy of use as students can download the reader as a single PDF-file.
If you are interested in using UvA’s E-reader, please be aware of a six-week deadline before your course starts. You can make an appointment with Géke Zijlstra (G.Zijlstra@uva.nl) More information is found here (Dutch)
